I am honored today to say a few words about, Bebian Grace Dominick, my Auntie Bebe.
As we remember her today let us take a look at who she was ….daughter to Sebastian and Mary Archangeli, loving wife to Ralph of 45 years, a wonderful mother to Ralph and Mark and mother-in-law to Angela, she was Nona to Sydney and Jordan, her beautiful and brave grandchildren and sister to Veronica and Joseph. She was sister-in-law to Diana and companion to Mark Solomon, who she loved and admired. Some of us would call her Auntie Bebe….all of us would call her our friend.
My aunt was an amazing person, who was strong, caring and always had a smile on her face. She had the ability to make everyone around her happy, something that I have learned from her and tried to do each day in my life. I would like to think that we have all learned something from her over the years.
She had a love for cooking and most of us would remember her for her raviolis or homemade pasta or those meatballs she would make in a time of need. She would say she didn’t like baking but yet she made an amazing cheesecake….a recipe that I have been lucky enough to share myself. She loved boating, being on the beach, softball, bowling and bingo…to highlight a few.
Bebe had a great love for her mother and went to visit her every year for mother’s day and for her birthday. This past summer, she was able to celebrate her mother’s 100th birthday with our family in Kentucky, which some of us here had the honor of sharing with her.
We have laughed with her and we have cried with her. She has stood by us and has held our hands when in need and in the end, we were able to stand by her and hold her hand in her time of need.
We all have our memories of my Auntie Bebe that we will hold close to our hearts, and as we remember her today let’s stop and think how she has touched all of us throughout the years and how each of us have shared our moments with her. I will miss my aunt’s smile and her love, for to me she was more than my aunt, she was like my mother.
I know that she will be missed by all of us here today, but at the end of this day, the one thought that I would like to leave you with would be the true love that she had for her sons.
