FALL RIVER … Anita J. (Ouellette) Couture, 96, of Dartmouth formerly of Fall River, died Monday, January 14, 2013 at Sarah S. Brayton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center where the staff was very caring and dedicated to her needs and making her comfortable.
She was the widow of Rene A. Couture.
She was born in Fall River a daughter of the late Albert and Rose (Dube) Ouellette and had lived in Fall River most of her life.
She was a communicant of the former Notre Dame Church, Fall River and attended St. Mary’s Church, South Dartmouth.
Mrs. Couture enjoyed reading, watching TV, and was devoted to her religion.
She also enjoyed playing bingo as she spent the last year and a half at Sarah S. Brayton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Survivors include a daughter Annette Gamache and her husband Jerome of Dartmouth, a sister Jeannette Hague of Fall River, a sister-in-law Rose Couture, a nephew Bruce Hague as well as several other nieces and nephews, a cousin Jeanette M. Souza of Brooklyn, NY, dear friends John Costa Jr., Dora and Richard Botelho, Annette would also like to thank many others that have been supportive and helpful.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Saturday at 8:00 A.M. at SOUTH COAST FUNERAL HOME 1555 Pleasant Street, Fall River, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 AM at ST. BERNADETTE PARISH 529 Eastern Ave,Fall River. Interment will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River. Calling hours will be Friday from 5 – 8 PM.
