Obituary

Joseph A. Corrado, 79, died after a extended illness at the Courtyard Nursing Care Center, in Medford.

The husband of Marguerite (Lanni) Corrado. Joe was a lifelong Medford resident, a World War II, US Army Air Corps Veteran, a member of the ITAM Post 8 of Medford and the Circle Club of Medford. He retired in 1987 from the Commonwealth of MA where he was employed as a construction inspector for several years. Joe also worked as a supply officer for the US Goverment at Hanscom Air Field for many years.

He is also survived by his loving grandaughter Lalia Corrado of Hopkinton, Three sisters Marie Cannava of Winchester, JoAn LaCascia and Juliette Dolly Cannava both of Medford. He is predeceased by his son Wayne J. Corrado, and two brothers Henry and Vincent Corrado.

A funeral mass will be celebrated Thursday at 10:00 AM in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner Street, Medford/Somerville, the Rev. Dennis A. Dever officiating. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. Friends may visit Wednesday from 5 thru 9. At the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford.
