WORCESTER__Adele A. (Miklusis) Palilunas, 78, of 60 Coral St., died Monday July 5 in St. Vincent Hospital at Worcester Medical Center. Her husband, Casimir J. “Casey” Palilunas died Sept. 12, 1974.
She leaves a son, William C. Palilunas of Worcester; a daughter, Carol A. Douaire, wife of Francis of South Grafton; two sisters, Eva Marzilli and Helen Jason both of Worcester; three grandchildren and nephews and nieces. A brother, William Miklusis died in 2003. She was born in Worcester, daughter of William and Elizabeth (Narenkawicute) Miklusis and lived here all her life.
Mrs. Palilunas was a dining hall worker 39 years for Worcester Academy and retired several years ago. Before then she worked for Phalo Plastics Co., Shrewsbury.
She was a member of St. Casimir’s Church and the Lithuanian Women’s Club. She enjoyed bingo, doing puzzles and spending time with her family.
The funeral will be held Thursday July 8 from HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward St., with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Casimir’s Church, 41 Providence St. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery.
