Auburn - Wilfrid H. Cloutier, 63, of 7 Fox Run Circle died on Tuesday July 6 in St. Vincent Hospital Worcester Medical Center after complications with diabetes.
Mr. Cloutier is survived by his wife of 44 years Jeanne (Gingras) Cloutier of Auburn; a son Joseph Cloutier husband of Patricia (Saad) both of Whitinsville; a daughter Michele Miller wife of Ken Miller both of Sterling; four grandchildren Alyssa and Nevin Miller both of Sterling and Zachary and Molly Cloutier both of Whitinsville; his father Joseph W. Cloutier of Lothian, MD; two sisters Phyllis (Cloutier) Gagne of Harrisville, RI and Yvette (Cloutier) Garity of Edgewater, MD and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Cloutier was born in Worcester son of the late Rita (Doucette) Cloutier and lived in Charlton for 26 years before moving to Auburn in 1999.
He graduated from Boy's Trade in 1959 and worked at Arrow Composition for 15 years before working at Graphics East for 4 years then started his own business with his friend and partner George O'Malley calling the business COMP, Cloutier O'Malley Photocomposition. He retired in 1998 due to illness.
Mr. Cloutier was a former member of both the Harmony Club of Worcester and the Worcester Rotary Club.
He was an avid camper and enjoyed sports as well as spending time with his grandchildren. He was also an antique car enthusiast.
The funeral will be held on Saturday July 10 from the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home (www.Royfuneral.com) 12 Hammond St. Worcester with a mass at 10 AM in St. Joseph's Church 35 Hamilton St. Worcester. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours are on Friday July 9 from 5 to 8 PM in the funeral home.
