SALEM - Patricia Mary Dunajski, 65, of Salem, died Thursday evening, January 10, 2013, at the Kaplan Family Hospice House, Danvers, with family by her side.
Born in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Dunajski and Helen (Odachowski) Eanes and was a lifelong resident of the city. She was a graduate of Salem High School and North Shore Community College.
Patricia was employed for several years with Travel Time of Peabody. For the past six years, and typical of the care giver she has always been, she worked as a home health aide for Intercity Homemaker Services in Salem.
She enjoyed knitting, sewing and quilting, loved to cook and was an avid gardener. Pat had an eye for antiques and a love of old books. She loved to hike and especially enjoyed hiking the miles of trails in Harold Parker State Forest located in North Andover, Andover, Middleton and North Reading.
She is survived by two daughters, Sara Whittredge of Salem, Tammy and her husband John Saupp of Glenville, NY, two granddaughters, Victoria Saupp and Ashlyn Saupp, of Glenville, NY, one sister and brother-in-law, Eleanor and Frank Soucy of Danvers and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Ronald J. Dunajski, Barbara A. Walsh and Sandra Rose.
Memorial services will be announced by the family in the spring. Arrangements by the Full-Spychalski Funeral Home, 84 Washington Square East, by Salem Common, Salem.
