Worcester—Lillian A. (Grazulis) Gully, 87, formerly of 49 Pleasant Valley Drive, died Sunday, July 4, 2004, at the Jewish Healthcare Center. Her husband Paul H. Gully, died in 1978. She leaves a son, Paul H. Gully, Jr., of Sterling and a daughter, Patricia A. Peoples of Hampton, TN. She also leaves a brother, Arthur Grazulis of Cape Canaveral, FL; a sister, Grace Jakubowski of Worcester; four grandchildren, Todd and Brian Gully and Scott Peoples, and Debra Martin; and two great-grandchildren, Jacob and Jordan Martin. Two brothers, John and Albert Grazulis, and one sister, Alice Brady, predeceased her.
She was born in Worcester, daughter of Victor and Mary (Samson) Grazulis. She graduated from Commerce High School and was an office worker at the former State Mutual Life Insurance Co. She was a former member of St. Joan of Arc Church and St. Bernards Church of Worcester. She was a member of the 49er’s Club and enjoyed crafts at the Senior Center.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 8, from Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street with a Mass at 11:00 a.m. at St. Bernard’s Church, 236 Lincoln Street. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery. Calling hours will be today, July 7, from 6-8 p.m. at Nordgren Memorial Chapel. Please omit flowers.
