Genevieve Bosak, 82, of Scott Twp., died Wednesday night at home following an illness. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Bosak Sr., on Sept. 4, 2004.
Born July 27, 1930, in Peckville, daughter of the late Floyd and Cecelia Mostowski Taylor, she was a graduate of Blakely High School. Before marriage, she was a member of Sacred Heart Church, Peckville. She then became a member of Corpus Christi Church, Scott Twp. She was formerly employed at Barbizon Dress Factory.
She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She will be deeply missed by all those who loved her. She will forever be in their hearts.
Surviving are a daughter, Patricia Dennis and husband, Thomas, Scott Twp.; five sons, Thomas Bosak Jr. and wife, Gail, Archbald; Paul Bosak, Scott Twp.; Brian Bosak and wife, Denise, Jessup; Stephen Bosak and wife, Deborah, State College; and Mark Bosak and wife, Tammy, Scott Twp.; 13 grandchildren, Michael and Gina Osif; Kelly, Stephen, Scott, Molly and Briana Bosak; Amanda Bosak, Shawna, Kayla, Jenna, Jonathan and Marcus Bosak; sister, Florence Lesnefsky and husband, Frank; several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by a son, John; and sister-in-law, Mary Bosak.
The funeral will be Monday from the Michael P. Glinsky Funeral Home Inc., 129 Grant St., Olyphant, with Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. John Vianney Parish at Corpus Christi Church, 704 Montdale Road, Scott Twp. Interment, St. Joseph's Cemetery, Scott Twp.
Friends may call Sunday from 4 to 7 p.m.
