Funeral from the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Friday at 8 am. Funeral Mass in St. Colman Church at 9 am. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Obituary
Mr. Weldon died Sunday at Northeast Specialty Hospital in Stoughton after a brief illness. Born in Brockton, son of the late Joseph P. and Elizabeth (Dorgan) Weldon. He had been a life long resident of Brockton and attended Brockton Schools. During WW II he served as a sergeant in the Army Air Force with the 247th Base Unit in Cuba. Following his military service he was employed as a plastic molder by the CS Pierce Company in Brockton until his retirement after 35 years of work. After his retirement he was called back to CS Pierce to work part time. He was an avid Red Sox fan and a communicant of St. Colman Church.
He is survived by a daughter, Kathleen E. Weldon of W. Bridgewater, a sister Alice Cyr of Brockton, a brother John Weldon of W. Bridgewater and many nieces and nephews.
Brother of the late Joseph, Edward,Robert,Lawrence, Anna Weldon and Marie Langdon.
