…A Warm and Wonderful Person…

TEWKSBURY: Bernice M. (Tobin) Hubley, age 61, a warm and wonderful person and resident of Tewksbury for over 30 years, died Monday, July 5, 2004 at the Massachusetts General Hospital.

She was the wife of Walter K. Hubley to whom she was married for 43 years.

Born in Glace Bay, Canada on February 1, 1943, she was the daughter of the late William P. and Geraldine (Blanchard) Tobin Campbell.

Mrs. Hubley was raised in Cambridge.

She attended Cambridge schools and graduated from Cambridge High and Latin in 1961.

Mrs. Hubley resided in Tewksbury since 1972.

She was a communicant of St. Dorothy’s Parish in Wilmington.

Prior to her retirement in 1994, she was employed in the commercial real estate department by the former Bank Boston (Fleet Bank) of Burlington for 14 years.

Mrs. Hubley enjoyed many activities including vacationing at Cocoa Beach in Florida, quilting and watching the Boston Bruins Hockey Team.

She was a member of the Tewksbury Piecemakers Quilt Guild.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by 2 daughters; Rhonda Hubley of Nashua, NH and Michelle Gray and her husband John of Salem, NH; 2 grandchildren; Nicole Gray and John R. Gray, Jr. both of Salem, NH.

Mrs. Hubley was the step-daughter of the late W. Douglas Campbell formerly of Andover.

Calling hours Wednesday 4-8 p.m. at the FARMER & DEE FUNERAL HOME, 16 LEE ST., TEWKSBURY. Funeral Thursday at 9 a.m. from the funeral home. Funeral MassThursday at 10 a.m. at St. Dorothy’s Church, Main St., Rte. 38, Wilmington. Cremation at Linwood Crematory, Haverhill. At the family request OMIT FLOWERS. Memorial contributions to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, 295 Devonshire St., Boston, MA 02110 are suggested.
