Obituary

Robert G. Clough, 69, of Medway, died unexpectedly on Monday, January 7, 2013 at his home. He was the beloved husband of Maureen (Chester) Clough since 1975.

Born in Boston on August 27, 1943, he was the son of the late George H. and Emma R. (Cella) Clough.

Bob was a resident of Medway since 1981. He graduated from the former Boston Latin High School and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Tufts University.

Bob served in the Army during the Vietnam War for three years and attained the rank of sergeant.

Before his retirement, Bob worked at Grantham, Mayo, Van Otterloo & Co in Boston for 3 years and had formerly worked for Boston Edison for 29 years.

In his free time, Bob enjoyed woodworking, taking walks, traveling, and doing puzzles.

He is survived by his wife, Maureen, sons Jeffrey and Christopher, daughter-in-laws Tatiana and Katelyn and two granddaughters, McKenzie and Tatiana.

He is also survived by his brother Kenneth Clough and his wife Marion, his cousin Jack Gill and his wife Maureen and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral on Saturday, January 12 from the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home, 3 Barber St. in Medway (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) at 9:15 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass at St. Joseph Church, 151 Village St. in Medway at 10 a.m.

Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.

Calling hours will be held on Friday from 4 – 7 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Bob's memory to the Home for Little Wanderers, Development Dept., 271 Huntington Ave., 2nd Floor, Boston, MA 02115.
