Michelle Merchant, 41,of Putnam Pike in Chepachet, died Sunday,January 6, 2013 at home. She was the wife of Michael H. Merchant.
Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of Edward and Patricia (Gianardi) Juaire of Ringgold, Georgia. She had lived in Glocester most her life.
She was a substitute teacher’s aide for the Ponagansett and Burrillville Schools and a volunteer at the Glocester Animal Shelter and Pet Finder. She worked for the Northeast Square Dance Magazine. Besides her husband and parents, she is survived by her son, Derek Merchant of Glocester, her brothers: William Juaire of Chepachet, and Edward Juaire, Jr. of Myrtle Beach and a stepdaughter, Shanda Merchant of Springhill, FL.
Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, at 11:00 AM in St. Philip Church, 622 Putnam Avenue, Greenville. Burial will be private. Visitation Friday 4-7pm in the ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville.
