LAWRENCE – Frances (Fradette) Custeau, 85 of Lawrence passed away peacefully on Sunday January 6, 2013 at the Mary Immaculate Nursing and Restorative Center.
Born in Franklin, NH she was the daughter of Francis and Lillian (Churas) Fradette. A homemaker, Frances was the widow of Robert Custeau, and later worked in the cafeteria with the Lawrence School System.
Frances enjoyed traveling, playing bingo, attending church events and was a communicant of the former Sacred Heart Church in South Lawrence prior to its closing.
She is survived by her children, Richard Custeau and his wife Diane of Brandon, VT, Joanne LaFleur and her husband Raymond of Bristol, NH, Robert Custeau and his wife Linda of Salem, NH, Michael Custeau and his wife Lorraine of Methuen, MA and Francine Boucher and her husband Raymond of North Andover, MA.
Sisters, Dolly Sullivan of Florida, Florence Hajj of Andover, MA, Irene Vignault of Salisbury, MA and also Robert Fradette of Andover, MA
Nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The family of Frances would like to thank the staff of Mary Immaculate for the all the care and compassion while Frances was a resident.
ARRANGEMENTS: Visiting hours for family and friends will be held on Wednesday from 4:00p.m. – 7:00p.m. at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, Inc., 233 Lawrence Street Methuen, MA 01844. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday at 11:00a.m. in Our Lady of Good Counsel parish/St. Theresa’s Church in Methuen, MA. Burial will follow in the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Andover, MA.
