Sullivan, of Brockton, July 4, 2004, C. Luella (Tyler) Sullivan, 95 years. Wife of the late C. James Sullivan. Mother of Margaret “Peggy” McCann of Brockton, John R. Sullivan and his wife Judy of Middleboro and the late C. James Sullivan Jr.

Funeral Service in the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Thursday at 11am. Burial in Melrose Cemetery. Visiting Hours Wednesday 5-8pm. Obituary Information

C. Luella (Tyler) Sullivan died Sunday afternoon at Life Care Center of West Bridgewater after a brief illness. Born in Brockton, daughter of the late Harry and Harriet (Davis) Tyler. She had been a lifelong resident of Brockton and a graduate of Brockton High School, class of 1926.

For many years she assisted her husband in the operation of J.M. Insulation Craftsman in Brockton. She was very devoted to her family, loved to play cribbage, bridge, crossword puzzles, enjoyed handwork, knitting, crocheting and crafts of all kinds. She was a wonderful cook, lifelong Red Sox fan and loved to travel and visit family.

She was the wife for 55 years of the late C. James Sullivan.

She is survived by two children, Margaret “Peggy” McCann of Brockton and John R. Sullivan and his wife Judy of Middleboro, 14 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and cousins both here in the United States and Canada.

She was the mother of the late C. James Sullivan, Jr. and sister of the late Nellie Tyler and Ruth Mullen.
