James “Jim” Montville 45, of East Bridgewater (formerly of Weymouth), died suddenly Saturday January 5.
Jim was the loving father of his two sons Nicolas 19, and Tyler 16 and his daughter Lindsay 17, all of East Bridgewater. He is also survived by his loving companion Cheryl Curtis of New Hampshire. Jim was the beloved son of Richard and Loretta Montville of Bridgewater and the loving brother of his sisters, Jean Kelly and husband John of Whitman, Joanne Creutz and husband Tom of Plymouth and Jackie Deady and husband Bob of West Bridgewater. He was the loving brother and best friend of Joseph Montville and wife Denise of Plymouth. He also leaves behind nine nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
Jim was the owner of Montville Door Company of Braintree. He was known for both his lighthearted demeanor and fun-loving personality. Jim was an avid Patriots fan and he also enjoyed camping, skiing and being outdoors. He especially enjoyed being with family and having fun with his three children.
His services will be held Wednesday, January 9 at 7 PM the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Rte. 58 @ the rotary) Whitman. Visiting hours will be held prior to the service from 4-7 PM.
In lieu of flowers we ask that donations be made to the “Montville Children’s Fund” at South Shore Savings Bank, 1530 Main Street, South Weymouth, MA 02190 to help with the needs of his three children.
