Suzanne Becker, age 67, passed away on Jan 2, 2013 at Baystate Medical Center. She was born on Nov 12, 1945 in Springfield to the late Joseph Cariani. She leaves her mother, Carolyn (Barowski) Cariani of West Springfield. Suzanne was an Army Veteran serving during Vietnam. She leaves two daughters Diane Fay and her husband Paul of Easthampton; Kimberly Beaty of Springfield; one brother Joseph Cariani and his wife Micky of TN; three sisters Carolyn Lucas of East Longmeadow, Vicki Sullivan and her husband Robert of Springfield, Deborah Stelzer of West Springfield and six grandchildren Jeremy Becker, Brian and Nicholas Fay and Matthew, Austin and Gary Beaty. She was predeceased by one sister Janice Mize. A Funeral Service will be held on Wed Jan 9, 2013 at 9:30 AM at the Grise Funeral Home 280 Springfield St. Chicopee with a funeral home prayer service to begin at 10:00 AM. Military Honors will follow the prayer service in the funeral home. Burial will be private. Calling Hours will be held on Tues Jan 8, 2013 from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home. Donations may be made in Suzanne’s name to the St Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
