
Santos “Santy” (Ortiz) Pagan, 72, of Framingham, passed away on January 4, 2013. She was the beloved wife of Jose E. Pagan Vazquez with whom she shared 53 years of marriage.
Born in Guayama, Puerto Rico on June 21, 1940, she has left behind 3 children, her oldest son Edwin Pagan, and 2 daughters, Ana Resto and Cynthia Pagan. She is also survived by her brothers, Guillermo Ortiz, and Bienvenido Ortiz-Ortiz; her sisters, Lucia Ortiz and Iris Ortiz-Feliciano; 6 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Santy was an active member of the Framingham community for over 30 years. She has always been a very active member of St. Stephen’s Church, being a lady of great faith, strength, and love. She was well-known for her dedication to her family and was always willing to help those in need whether she knew them or not. Santy has lived a great life and will always be remembered for her great love to all those who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM in the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park St. (at Natick Common) Natick. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, January 10, 2013 at 10:00 AM in St. Stephen’s Church, Framingham. Burial will follow in St. Stephen’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in Santy’s memory be made to them to help defray expenses.
