Obituary

WORCESTER - Lucie L. (Lussier) Lachance, 93, of 626 Pleasant St. died Sunday March 3 in Holy Trinity Nursing and Rehabilitation Center after an illness.

Her husband Lucian A. Lachance died in December 2001; she leaves three sons Andre L. Lachance of Hobe Sound, FL, Paul B. Lachance of Holden and Gerard D. Lachance of Paxton; three daughters Suzzane L. Nelson of Bourne, MA, Ruth T. Lemay of Shrewsbury and Marguerite M. Leroux of Paxton, MA; two sisters Agnes Patrie of Worcester and Florence Richard of Worcester; 17 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and several nephews and nieces. She is also predeceased by 10 brothers and sisters. Mrs. Lachance was born in St. Denis, PQ, Canada daughter of Alphonse and Louise Lussier.

Mrs. Lachance was a member of Holy Name of Jesus Church and the Des Dames De Ste. Anne Society. She was also an avid sewer.

The funeral will be held Wednesday March 6 from the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. (www.Royfuneral.com) with a mass at 10 AM in Holy Name of Jesus Church 53 Illinois St. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
