Materia, Christine of Marshfield, passed away on January 3, 2013 at the age of 60. Beloved wife of Stephen Iacovino. Loving mother of Nathan Iacovino and his wife Amanda Miller of Swedesboro, NJ, Jenna Iacovino of Marshfield and Kirsten Iacovino of Marshfield. Dear daughter of Stephen and Antoinette (Farina) Materia of Upton. Dear sister of Elena Aherne and her husband Jack of Pembroke and Stephen Materia and his wife Theresa of Upton. Loving aunt of Kristelle, Elyce, Meredith, Lauren, Alex, Emma, Kyle, Justin, Jeremy and Zachary. Loving great aunt of Isabella, Jack, Hudson and Nina Christine. Christine was born in South Boston and raised in Weymouth. She graduated from Weymouth High School in 1970. Christine was a graduate of Keene State College. She was a beloved teacher and director at Preschool Playmates in Abington for 32 years. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary’s of the Sacred Heart Church, 392 Hanover St. in Hanover, MA on Monday, January 7, 2013 at 11:00 a.m.
