Prince Edward Saubert
April 19, 1925 to Jan. 2, 2013

Prince Edward Saubert, 87, of Anderson died January 2, 2013 at St. Vincent's Hospital in Indianapolis.

He was born April 19, 1925 in Lafayette, IN to William A. and Emma (Cohee) Saubert.

He worked Maintenance as a painter at Guide Lamp for 34 years before retiring in 1987.

He was a member of Southern Heights Christian Church and Anderson Model Railroading at the Library and Model Circus Club. He enjoyed wood carving.

Survivors include his 6 children: Marie (Jerry) Inglis of Gyton, GA; Jo Lee Cash of Anderson; Roseanna (Ray) Lund, III, of Ypsilanti, MI; Gene (Elaine) Saubert of Indianapolis; Larry (Esther) Saubert of Franklin; Lysle (Brenda) Saubert of Decatur, IL; a sister Sophia Smith of Lafayette; 16 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Saralee (Fraze) Saubert on April 10, 2012; 10 brothers and a sister.

Services will be 11:00 A.M. on Monday, January 7, 2013 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Rev. Steve Lane officiating. Burial will be in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be Sunday, January 6, 2013 from 2:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be given to Southern Heights Christian Church.
