Worcester – Eleanor L. (Smith) Petty, 91, of Worcester, died on Wednesday, December 26th in Saint Vincent Hospital after an illness.
Eleanor was born in Framingham, daughter of the late Walter and Ethel (William) Smith and was predeceased by her husband, Earl Petty of Skowhegan, Me.
Mrs. Petty is survived by her son, Robert Fox of Dudley; two daughters, Karen Fox-Patterson of Port St. Lucie, FL and Marilyn Tourville-Trombetta of Munich, Germany; a sister in law Lelaine Smith of Cochituate, Ma; 7 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild and many nieces and nephews. Eleanor is predeceased by 3 brothers, 2 sisters and a great grandchild Kiarah Bowley.
Eleanor enjoyed doing crafts and many other activities during her extended stay at the Lutheran Home in Worcester.
Family and friends are invited to the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. on Saturday, January 5 at 10 AM to remember Eleanor’s life. A funeral service will follow on Saturday at 11 AM in the funeral home.
