Becky Parker, 58, of Fitzgerald died Tuesday, January 1, 2013 at Phoebe Dorminy Medical Center in Fitzgerald.
Graveside services will be held at 2 PM, Thursday, January 3, at Evergreen Cemetery in Fitzgerald, Georgia with the Rev. Ricky Kellum officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 7 to 9 at the funeral home in Fitzgerald.
Ms. Parker was born December 31, 1954 in Warner Robins, Georgia to the late Delbert Dean Sheppard and Barbara Joan Fitzgerald. She was a former resident of Texas and lived in the Fitzgerald community most of her life. She was an avid lover of animals, which showed in her daily work as a veterinary assistant for Dr. Dwain Smith. Ms. Parker was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her husband: Randy Clements of Fitzgerald; sister and brother-in-law: Carla and Steve Napier of Byron, Georgia, sister: Tracy Cobb of Macon, Georgia; brothers and sisters-in-law: Tim and Shelia Sheppard of Fitzgerald, Georgia, Richard and Rita Jones of Perry, Georgia and several nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother: Michael Dean Sheppard.
