Harold E. Manchester of Little Compton passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, December 30, 2012 after an amazing story of survival during the previous 18 months. He was married to his primary caretaker, Marie (Elkins) Manchester for 60 years.
Survivors along with his wife include his 2 daughters: Harriett Manchester and Juanita Dubuc and her husband Brian.
The Manchester family shared many memorable and caring moments with Harold in Little Compton, RI and South Yarmouth, MA.
A graveside service to which family and friends are invited will be Saturday, January 5, 2013 at 11 A.M. at Pleasant View Cemetery, 7 Old Stone Church Rd., in Tiverton, RI. Following the service the Manchester family is cordially inviting everyone to visit with them at Whites of Westport, 66 State Road, Westport, MA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in honor of Harold may be made to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 417005, Boston, MA 02441.
