Mrs. Joanne Schriner, 73, wife of the late James W. Schriner Sr., entered into rest on Friday, December 28, 2012 at her home in Grovetown, GA.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 on Friday, January 4, 2013 at Bellevue Memorial Gardens Chapel with the Rev. Tommy Braswell officiating.
Mrs. Schriner, a native of Easton, Pennsylvania, was the daughter of Osbourn and Edith Kelchner Werkheiser. She graduated from Wilson High School in Easton in 1958, and went on to become a nurses assistant. She was a beloved wife to James, and a loving and caring mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She is survived by her daughters, Joanne Marie Simon (Dallas), Terry Lee Newman (Frederick), Sara Louise Billiard (Mark) and Patricia Ann Garo (Butch), her sons, James Walter Schriner Jr., and Gerald Leonard Schriner (Melody), her grandchildren, Megan, Michael, Alyssa, Chrissy, Becca, Laura, Morgan, Brandy, Bopper, Krystal, Kayla, Markie, David, Joey, April, Annie, Jessica and Brock, as well as her great grandchildren, Amaiya, Coral, Jasmine, Ryan, Brady, Christian, Seth, Zoey, Ziva, A.J. and Angelia. She is also survived by her brother, Sterling, and her sisters, Florence, Betty and Joyce.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Stanley, Don, Lester, Jerry, Kenneth, Osborne and Leonard, and her sisters, Eleanor and Doris.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening, January 2, 2013 from 6:00 until 9:00 PM.
