Faith P. (Phelan) Moorehead, 86, of Pembroke, MA, formerly of Scituate, MA, died peacefully on Sunday, December 30th, 2012, at the Wingate Skilled Nursing Care in Kingston, MA.
She was the beloved mother of Robert of Stony Point, NY, Thomas of Vero Beach, FL, James of New York, NY and Faith Elliot of Pembroke, MA. She was predeceased by a son, Jonathan and a grandson, Jesse. She is also survived by two grandchildren; Alane Moorehead and Robert J. Elliot, and a step-granddaughter, Hilary McVicker of North Carolina.
She was born and raised in New York City and was a graduate of the Dalton School. She loved spending time in her garden and hand crafted countless and cherished quilts; many of which she donated to Project Linus.
A special thank you to the caring staff at Wingate at Silver Lake in Kingston for their kind and compassionate care of the elderly.
Per her request, services were private, and she will be laid to rest in the Woodlawn Cemetery, Bronx, NY.
