On December 27, 2012 Calvin Wilson Mitchell, 83, passed away at Virginia Baptist Hospital. He was the beloved husband of the late Grace Johnson Mitchell. Mr. Mitchell was a retired employee for Food Fair and McCormick Foods. and was a member of the Parkville Baptist Church. In addition to his wife, Mr. Mitchell was preceded in death by his son, Richard C. Mitchell; four brothers, Charlie, Howard, James and Woodrow Mitchell; four sisters, Mary Hackett, Linda Clements, Anna and Elizabeth Mitchell. He is survived a brother, George L. Mitchell and his wife Linda of Virginia and many nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, December 31st, at 1 P.M. in the Whitten Monelison Funeral Home Chapel in Madison Heights, Virginia. Interment will be Friday, January 4th, at 2 P.M. in Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens.
The Family will recieve friends on Sunday, December 30th, from 3 to 4 P.M. at the Whitten Monelison Chapel.
