Nancy M. Duval, 82, of Punta Gorda, FL, formerly of Manchester died December 26, 2012 after a period of declining health.
She was born in Manchester on November 22, 1930, the daughter of Harold R. and Ruth (Parkhurst) Artz. She was educated in the local school system.
Prior to retirement, she had been an assistant treasurer in the banking industry in Amesbury, MA for many years.
Nancy loved gardening, sailing, knitting, singing, and spending time outdoors. She found her greatest joy spending time with her family and will be greatly missed.
Family members include her husband of 59 years Jean “Bert” Duval of Punta Gorda, FL; three sons, Mark Duval and wife Brenda of Sanford, ME, John Duval of Georgetown, MA, and Michael Duval and wife Tara of Brainerd, MN; her grandchildren, Jason, Ryan, Nathan, Casey, and Ross Duval; her great-grandchildren, Leila and Malachi.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at St. Catherine of Siena Church. Burial followed in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
