Ruby TREVA Watkins Clement, age 79, formerly of Douglas, GA, passed away at Baptist Village Retirement Community in Waycross, Ga following an extended illness. She was born March 23, 1933 to the late William Baker and Ruby Murray Watkins.
Survivors include: Son Ronnie Clement of Lake Alfred, FL; one Grandson: Chris (Jessica) Clement of Lakeland GA; 3 great grandsons: Austin Clement,Elijah Clement and Ethan Richard Clement all of Lakeland, GA Several Nieces and Nephews.
Mrs. Treva will be remembered by many for her service to the Douglas Community by serving at City Hall until her retirement. Her services thru her beloved church, College Avenue Baptist Church will also be remembered by the congregation.
Visitation will be held Sunday, December 30, 2012 from 6 to 9 PM at Sims Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be held Monday,December 31, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Douglas City Cemetery. Rev. Don Harper will be officiating. Sims Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
