Obituary

Edith L. Deieso, age 82, of Brockton, died December 27, 2012 at Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital following a period of failing health. She was the wife of the late Nicholas A. Deieso. Born and raised in West Bridgewater, Edith was the daughter of the late Carl and Minnie (Hammond) Erickson. She was a graduate of Brockton High School. She had been employed at the Brockton Credit Bureau, and for nearly 20 years was a Dispatcher and Trainer for Carey's Bus Transportation. Edith was known for her great sense of humor and loved spending time with her daughters and grandchildren. She also enjoyed gardening, playing cards, dancing, and was a former member of the Ladies Auxillary of the Bertocci Club.
She is survived by two daughters Donna M. Noone of St. Augustine, FL and Debra J. Deieso of Brockton; two grandchildren Michael and Katelyn Noone; two sisters Virginia Parziale of Brockton and Arlene Cronin of Middleboro; her sisters in law Laura Erickson and Helen Deieso; brother in law James Cronin and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Edward Erickson, Walter Erickson, Murriel Lauzon and Barbara Severson.
Visiting Hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Thursday 5-8pm. A service will be held in the funeral home Friday at 11am followed by burial in Calvary Cemetery.
