Floyd "Gene" Stottlemyer
July 25, 1951- December 28, 2012
Floyd " Gene" Stottlemyer, 61, of Anderson died on December 28, 2012 at The Water's of Muncie after a very brief illness.
He was born on July 25, 1951 in Anderson to Floyd and Ruby Grace (Ebert) Stottlemyer.
He served in the US Army.
He worked as a bus driver and at General Motors. He was a member of Seventh-Day Adventist Church. He enjoyed farming and semi-trucks.
He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Dorothy Stottlemyer of Anderson; 3 sisters and brothers-in-law, Phyllis and Howard "Sonny" Edwards of Anderson, Judy Gall of Seattle, WA, and Reba and Riley Simmons of Westfield; several aunts, nieces, and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Ruby Stottlemyer.
The funeral service will be on Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at 1:00pm at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Chaplin Tim Stigers of Southern Care Hospice officiating. The burial will take place at Elwood City Cemetery.
The visitation will be on from 11:30am-1:00pm on Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service.
