Middleboro – Anne D. (Killoh) DeBuigny 98, formerly of Whitman, died Friday December 28 after a brief period of failing health. She was the beloved wife of the late Arthur DeBuigny.
Born in Quincy she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Isabell (Bremner) Killoh, and a graduate of Weymouth High, Class of 1933.
Anne was a gifted cook and had worked cooking for the Weymouth School system, retiring after twenty years.
Before her move to Middleboro, Anne had been a longtime resident of Whitman and an active member of the First Congregational Church as well as a member of the church’s Emerson Club.
She loved knitting and crocheting and shared her talents with the many items she made for family and friends, and had truly enjoyed the challenge of a good “Yatzee” game. However her greatest joy came from the time spent with her devoted family.
She is survived by her loving children Elizabeth Lundgren of Hanson, Margaret Christie of Middleboro, and Donald DeBuigny and Peter DeBuigny both of Florida. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Margaret MacLeod, and William and Alexander Killoh.
Her funeral service will be held Friday January 4 at 10 AM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth St. (Rte. 58 @ the rotary) Whitman. Burial will follow in the Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. Visiting hours will be held Thursday January 3 from 4-7 PM.
