Lola (Mosson) Denniston Brooks

Lola (Mosson) Denniston Brooks, 90, of Anderson died December 25, 2012 at St. John's Hospital following an extended illness. She was born on September 9, 1922 in Ellsworth, IL, the daughter of Lawrence and Helen (Neal) Mosson. She was employed by Delco Remy for 36 years retiring on January 1, 1986. She was a former member of Hillcrest Church of Christ and a member of UAW Local 662.
She is survived by two daughters, Linda Doty and Jeanne Maish of Anderson; seven grandchildren: Lisa Holloman, Roger L. Doty, Jr.; Steven Doty; Angela Bee; Charles Denniston; Donny Maish and Danny Maish; ten great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; two sisters, Donna McKinnish of Fort Mead, FL and Darlene Bell (husband Ray) of Tempe, AZ, a brother, John Mosson (wife Rosemary) of Rankin, IL and her sister-in-law Carol Mosson of Saybrook, IL; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert G. Brooks in 1998, her son, Gerald Denniston in 2011; her three sisters and five brothers and the father of her children Glenn Denniston.
Services will be 11 AM Saturday, December 29, 2012 at the Rozelle Johnson Funeral Service in Anderson, officiated by Pastor John Hackney of Cross Roads United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at the Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
