Mrs. Lillie Mae Belton, 72, was born August 15, 1940 in Dearing, Georgia to the late Nellie Bell West and Amos Wilson. Mrs. Belton entered into her eternal rest on Sunday, December 23, 2012 at the Lawrence General Hospital in Lawrence, MA.
She dedicated her life to Jehovah and was baptized in May of 1975. She was employed at PT Brake Line for many years until she retired. Mrs. Belton was a wonderful devoted mother and an excellent cook. Relatives and friends were always welcome to share a meal with her and her children.
She leaves fond memories to be cherished by her son Donald Bradshaw and daughter Lizzie Bradshaw both of Haverhill, MA, son Gary Fountian and daughter-in-law Jessica of Salem, N.H., and son Gerry Fountian of Lawrence, MA. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Mrs. Belton was one of 18 siblings and is survived by two brothers John Willie Wilson and his wife Vandella of Harlem, GA, and D.C. Wilson and his wife Idonia of Lawrence, MA. She is also survived by sisters Nellie Gant as well as Alberta Wilson Jones and her son-in-law Herbert of Hephzibah, GA, sister-in-laws Carrie Wilson of Augusta, GA, and Annie Wilson of So. Lawrence, MA, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and an abundance of friends.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 29, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 35 Ferry Street, Lawrence, MA.
