LOWELL—Cheryl B. (Murphy) Clark, died unexpectedly in Florida, June 27th. She was the wife of Willis A. Clark, III.
She was born in Winthrop, on February 18, 1954, a daughter of Attorney Jeremiah F. and Dorothea (Leonard) Murphy. She was a graduate of Lowell High School, Class of 1972. She was third in her graduating class from the New England Conservatory of Music, in 1976.
Mrs. Clark had been employed as a Paraprofessional by the Lowell Public School system for the past fifteen years, at the Reilly School. She was a Paraprofessional representative for the Lowell Teacher’s Union. She will always be cherished and remembered by all who knew her. She was a lover of art, music and her family.
Surviving her besides her parents and husband of 28 years are two daughters: Kathleen, and her husband Norman Poirier, Jr., of Fitchburg; and Lauren Clark, and her fiancé Leo Sousa, of Lowell; six brothers and sisters: Jeremiah “Jay” Murphy, and his wife Linda, of West Palm, Beach, FL; Dorothea Caplice, and her husband Eddie Filistowicz, of Tewksbury; Edward Murphy, and his partner Tim Wachowiak, of Lake Worth, FL; Kathleen Griffin, and her husband Mark, of Lancaster; and Brian K. Murphy, Sr., of Lowell; her father-in-law: Willis A. Clark, Jr., of Lowell; a sister-in-law: Nancy Clark, of Lowell; also many loving nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 3 until 9 PM Thursday, July 1st, at the MAHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 187 Nesmith Street, (Rte. 38). Her Funeral Mass to be offered Friday, July 2nd, at 9 AM at ST. JOHN the EVANGELIST CHURCH, North Chelmsford. Burial in the Lowell Cemetery.
