Madaline (Pereira) Botelho, age 84 of Swansea and formerly of Fall River passed away December 22, 2012. She was the daughter of the late Manuel and Angela (Pimentel) Pereira in Fall River. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Herman (Chick) Botelho.
Mrs. Botelho leaves two daughters, whom she was infinitely proud of, Sandra Ouellette and her husband Steven of Warren, RI and Madeline Benard and her husband Gilbert of Swansea, who were her caretakers for many years.
She also leaves 2 granddaughters who were her world, Darcie Ouellette Coffey and her husband (Vavo’s buddy) James of Warwick, RI and Madelynn Benard, her “astral twin”, who was exactly 70 years younger than her, of Swansea, MA. She joins a great-grandchild in heaven as she reunites with all of her passed loved ones. We on Earth have gained a new angel.
She is also survived by her brother John Pereira (wife Bea) and sister Alice Caron (husband Robert). She leaves many nieces and nephews who undoubtedly miss “Tia Madaline.” She also leaves extended family and friends.
Her funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, Inc. 1521 N. Main St., Fall River Thursday at 9 A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Stanislaus Church at 10 A.M.
