Bruce Costa, 47, of New Bedford, died Sunday, June 27, 2004, unexpectedly at St. Luke's Hospital.
He was the husband of Kathleen (Ventura) Costa.
Born in New Bedford, the son of Manuel Costa and Barbara (Camara) Seamans both of New Bedford, he had lived in New Bedford all of his life.
Mr. Costa was formerly employed as a carpenter for Sylvia Construction.
He had served in the U.S. Army. He enjoyed fishing and watching his nephew play baseball.
Survivors include his wife; his parents; his stepfather, Robert Seamans of New Bedford; two sons, Jason Boruta of New Bedford, and Denny Boruta of Worcester; a daughter, Erika Boruta of New Bedford; a brother, Randall Costa of New Bedford; three sisters, Rhonda Costa, and her companion Jesse Velez, Sandra Seamans and Christine Seamans, all of New Bedford; several nieces and nephews; and a great-nephew.
He was the brother of the late Steven A. Costa and Christopher Seamans.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours at the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford, on Tuesday evening, June 29, 2004, from 6-8 PM. Burial will be private.
