Antonio DeFabrizio, 75 of Somerville, died Wednesday after a brief illness in the Mt. Auburn Hospital, Cambridge, MA.
Born in Italy he lived in Somerville for the past 52 years and formerly of Italy. He was the son of the late Maria (DePalma) and Rafaele DeFabrizio. Antonio was a Plasterer in the Boston area since 1961 and retired in 1993.
Beloved husband of Maria (Marano) DeFabrizio. Devoted father of Robert DeFabrizio and his wife Francesca of Stoneham, Maria L. Farias and her husband Nelson of Medford, and Anthony DeFabrizio of Somerville. Loving grandfather of Dana, Deric, Hunter, Zayla and Sofia.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Saturday at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Catherine of Genoa Church, 179 Summer St., Somerville, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Friday 4-8. Entombment will be at a later date.
