Helen Ethel (Conley) Culhane, 76, died at New England Medical Center in Boston on December 17. She leaves her two loving daughters, Deborah Remlinger and Janet Culhane both of Plymouth. Grandmother of Janelle Louisa Remlinger and James Paul Remlinger. She also leaves a brother Vincent Conley of Hyannis, a sister Louisa Kreger of Norwood, many nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews and also her former husband, William Culhane of Winter Haven, FL. Helen was predeceased by 2 brothers James B. Conley, Paul Conley and a sister Virginia Allen.
Helen was born in Boston the daughter of James and Virginia (Williams) Conley, she graduated from Roxbury High School and Fisher College. Helen worked as an administrative assistant for Boston Edison at the Pilgrim Station in Plymouth. Helen summered in White Horse Beach since 1964 and moved to Plymouth (White Horse Beach and Manomet) full time in 1974. Helen was a devout Catholic and a communicant of St. Bonaventure Parish.
Visiting hours will be held at the Richard Davis Funeral Home 619 State Road (Rte. 3A) Plymouth (Manomet) on Thursday December 20, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. A funeral Mass will be held at St. Bonaventure Parish on Friday December 21 at 10:00 AM. Burial will be in the Manomet Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to St Jude’s Children’ Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1905, or to the National Kidney Foundation, 85 Astor Ave .Suite 2, Norwood, MA 02062.
