Manuel S. Camelo Jr., 79 of Medford, died Sunday in the Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, MA.
Born in Portugal he lived in Medford for the past 15 years and formerly of Cambridge. He was the son of the late Maria I. (Parece) and Manuel S. Camelo Sr.
Manuel was a Window Washer, employed by Unnico Cleaning Company of Boston for 29 years and retired in 2004.
Beloved husband of the late Maria S. (Cabral). Devoted father of Isabel Skelton, Maria Santos, Connie Richards, Margaret Rodrigues, Simon, Antonio, Dimas, Teresa Camelo, Michael Santos and the late Joao Jose Camelo. Also survived by 13 loving grandchildren and 1 loving great granddaughter. Brother of Antonio Santos and Maria Carmo Moniz.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Friday at 8 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Anthony Church, 400 Cardinal Medeiros Ave., Cambridge, at 9 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Thursday 4-8.
Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
