Worcester- Paul A. Blondin, 76, of 106 Standish St., died Saturday, June 26, in his home.
He leaves his wife of 44 years, Ann Marie (Coffey) Blondin; two sons, Paul E. Blondin of Tempe, AZ, and Michael F. Blondin of Dudley; two daughters, Marie F. Santom and Diane M. Drohan, both of Worcester; 12 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; nephews and nieces; his dog, Fluffy and his cat, Sammy. A son, Richard F. Blondin, died in 1996. His brother Leo “Sonny” Blondin, was killed in action during World War II. He was born in Worcester, son of Leo P. and Edith M. (Powers) Blondin and lived here all his life. He graduated from St. Stephen’s High School.
Mr. Blondin worked at General Motors, Framingham, for many years, before retiring.
He was a member of St. Stephen’s Parish and its’ Mens Club, the V.F.W., and the AFL-CIO. He was an avid Red Sox fan.
Mr. Blondin was a World War II U.S. Navy veteran.
The funeral will be held Thursday, July 1, from DIRSA-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 298 Grafton St., with a Mass at 11 a.m. in St. Stephen’s Church, 357 Grafton St. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery. Calling hours are from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 30, in the funeral home.
