Florence Joan Nix Stamper, 79, of Clarksville, TN, died on Sunday, December 16, 2012 at Walking Horse Assisted Living. She was born on June 25, 1933 in Pueblo, Colorado to the late Howard Dallas Nix and Florence Christie Nix.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 20, 2012 from 4-7 p.m. at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Pueblo, Colorado.
Florence was an occupational therapist at Western State Hospital. She was a member of Hilldale United Methodist Church. She also volunteered with Meals On Wheels.
She is survived by her son, James Wayne Stamper (Karren) of Albuquerque, NM; two daughters, Julee Stamper Poole and Florence Christie Davidson (Mark) of Clarksville, TN; and one grandson, Ryan Howard Davidson.
