SALEM - Miss Ruth S. Bain, 82, of Peabody, died Friday morning, December 14, 2012.
Born in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth R. and Mary E. (Punchard) Bain.
A resident of Salem for most of her life before moving to Peabody, she was a lifelong and active member of the First Baptist Church in Salem.
Miss Bain is survived by her loving family which includes Robert K. Jr. and Sally Bain, Nancy Davis, Diana and Arthur Nielsen, Laura Borash, Daniel Nielsen, Benjamin Nielsen, as well as her church family. She was predeceased by one sister, Elizabeth P. Brigham and two brothers, Robert K. Bain, Sr., and Ralph L. Bain.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at 11 am at the First Baptist Church, 292 Lafayette St., Salem. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.
