Obituary

Worcester – Andres E. Saballos, 56, of Worcester, died on Tuesday, December 11th in the Ichabod Washburn House after a brief illness.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Anna V. (Lopez) Saballos; 3 daughters, Jacqueline X. Saballos and her husband Angel Rivera of New Britain, CT, Jessica J. Saballos of Worcester and Yajaira B. Rodriguez and her husband Alberto of Worcester and 3 grandchildren.

Mr. Saballos was born in El Salvador, son of the late Milagro (DeJesus) Barahona and moved to the United States in 1980.

He worked at Clark University for the past 10 years in the Physical Plant Department. Andres was the happiest when he was cracking jokes with his family friends as well as the students and faculty at Clark. He was an avid soccer fan and played semi pro soccer in El Salvador.

The funeral will be held on Wednesday, December 12th at 7 PM in the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. Burial will be on Thursday, December 13th at 11 AM in Notre Dame Cemetery 162 Webster St. Calling hours are on Wednesday, December 12th from 5 to 7 PM in the funeral home.
