Obituary

William A. Perry, 81, a resident of Framingham since 1959, died Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at the Maples Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Wrentham. He was the beloved husband of Judith A. (Lipton) Perry since 1957.

Born in Lewiston, Maine on June 6, 1931, he was the son of the late Samuel and Celia (Harris) Perry.

Mr. Perry grew up in Lewiston and graduated from Lewiston High School. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Illinois and a Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice for Boston University.

Mr. Perry was an Army veteran of the Korean War and attained the rank of First Lieutenant.

Before his retirement, he was the executive director of the Greater Boston Association for Retarded Citizens for many years.

Besides his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Elizabeth Reed of Stamford, Connecticut and Susan McMahon and her husband Tom of Medway and three grandchildren, Jenny, Samuel and Tommy.

He was the brother of the late Bernice Morse.

His funeral services will be held privately at the request of his family.
