Walter J. Driscoll of Newton died on Tuesday June 22 at the Newton wellesley Hospital. He was 76 years old. Mr,. driscol grew up in Newton and worked for the City of Newton Sanitation Department of 28 years, retiring in 1981. The beloved husband of the late Margaret (Dunn) Driscoll, he leaves his children Walter J. Driscoll Jr. of Newton, Sharon O'Brien and Terry Morales both of Needham, David J. Driscoll of Peabody, Mark S. Driscoll of Needham and the late Alan T. Driscoll. He was the brother of Martha Giorgio of Newton, Barbara Wilkenson and Richard Driscoll both of Oklahoma and the late Lawrence and Wallace Driscoll. Also survived by 21 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Dear companion of Agnes Lebber of Millis, formerly of Needham. Funeral from the Eaton Funeral Home 1351 Highland Avenue Needham on Saturday June 26 at 9:00 AM followed by a Funeral Mass in Mary Immaculate of Lourdes Church Newton Upper Falls at 10:00 AM.
