Obituary

GLOUCESTER: Geraldine “Bonnie” Cuddyer, 63, died unexpectedly on Saturday, December 8, 2012, following a brief illness.
Born in Boston on September 19, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Donald F. and Evelyn B. (Biggins) Cuddyer. The family moved to Gloucester when she was a child. She was a graduate of the St. Ann High School class of 1967 and had attended Salem State College.
She was employed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts at the Registry of Motor Vehicles in Boston. Her career spanned thirty-five years, first as a clerk and ultimately becoming a supervisor. During this time, she commuted with Kathy and Patty in the “Train Gang.” An avid reader, she was very well versed in current affairs and politics.
Bonnie was tremendously fond of her nieces and nephews and maintained close relationships with them. She was extremely witty and often spontaneously funny. Like her brother, Donny, her outgoing personality, sense of humor and keen wit will be greatly missed by all who knew loved her.
She is survived by her brother, Robert, husband of Katherine (Conti) Cuddyer; sister, Patricia, wife of George Knispel; two nieces, Kelly and Kaitlin Cuddyer; two nephews, Woody and Riley Knispel, and many dear friends. She was also recently predeceased by her brother, Capt. Donald W. Cuddyer on October 10th.
A celebration of Bonnie’s life will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in her memory to the American Diabetes Assoc., 10 Speen St., 2nd Fl., Framingham, MA 01701.
