MARTIN, Laurence J. “Larry”, of Winthrop, passed away at home on December 4, 2012. He was 66. Born in Boston, he was the son of the late William J. and Mary M. (Kinsella) Martin Sr. Devoted father of Heather J. Martin of VA. and Heidi J. Martin of LA. Dear brother of William J. Martin Jr. and his wife Christina of Tewksbury. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be held at the Maurice W. Kirby Funeral Home 210 Winthrop St. WINTHROP, on Fri, Dec 14, only from 4-8pm. Relatives and friends are invited. Military Funeral Honors will be presented to the family at 5pm. Donations in lieu flowers can be made to the Hospice of the North Shore and Greater Boston 75 Sylvan St. Suite B-102, Danvers MA, 01923. Larry served in the U.S. Marine Corps. during the Vietnam Era. He was also a member of the Friends of Bill W. For many years he worked on the loading ramp at Logan Airport for the former Eastern Airlines and later went on to work in the parts dept. at Woburn Toyota.
