NORTHBORO – Robert K. Letiecq, 76, of 17 Easy Street died Wednesday, June 23 at home after a brief illness.
He leaves his wife of 44 years Marie J. (Poirier) Letiecq of Northboro; a son Dana R. Letiecq of Millbury; two sisters Eleanor Schelin of Worcester and Phyllis Bolduc of Springfield; 2 grandchildren Danielle and Benjamin Leticq both of Millbury and several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by a son Dean K. Letiecq who died in 1994. Mr. Letiecq was born in Worcester son of Adelard and Evangeline (Hebert) Letiecq.
He was a veteran of the United States Navy serving during World War II on the USS Dixie.
Mr. Letiecq worked as a salesman for Merck Pharmaceuticals for 19 years before retiring in 1990. He was an avid golfer, bowler and enjoyed organic gardening.
The funeral will be held on Saturday, June 26 from the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home (www.Royfuneral.com) 12 Hammond Street, Worcester with a mass at 10 AM in Holy Name of Jesus Church, 53 Illinois Street, Worcester. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours will be on Friday, June 25 from 5 to 8 PM in the funeral home.
