In Peabody, December 9, 2012 Helena M. (Crowley) wife of the late William Delaney Sr. died peacefully in her home at the age of 81. Born in Taunton, Helena was the daughter of the late Charles and Helena (Loranger) Crowley. Helena was a graduate of Taunton High School class of 1948 and Boston University class of 1952 majoring in Sociology. She then joined the US Navy serving after WWII. Helena enjoyed all animals and traveling to Africa and Bermuda. She was the mother of Mary Delaney of Hampton, NH and William Delaney Jr. of NY, NY. Grandmother of William Munson, Phillip Munson, Shaun Munson, Kimberly Munson and Eric Munson. Calling hours will be held at the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington Street in Taunton Thursday, December 13th from 11 AM to 12 Noon. A service will be held at the funeral home at 12 Noon. Interment St Joseph Cemetery in Taunton.
