SPENCER; Arthur N. Gaucher 90 of 91 South Spencer Rd., died Tuesday, June 22nd at Saint Vincent Hospital after being stricken ill at home. He leaves his wife of 62 years, Claire R. (Daoust) Gaucher, two sons Roger C. Gaucher and Roland F. husband of Karen E. Gaucher all of Spencer, a daughter Lorelle C. wife of John Morrow of Lawrenceville, Ga., four grandaughters; Heather wife of Jason Gianfriddo, Kristen and Megan Gaucher, Natalie Morrow, four great-grandchildren; Josiah, Elijah, Noah and Joshua Gianfriddo, nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by a brother, Romeo Gaucher and a sister, Rachel Hayes. He was born in Spencer, the son of Charles & Albina (LeBlanc) Gaucher. Mr. Gaucher was a toolmaker for 35 years at the former Novelty Tool Co. in Spencer, retiring in 1978. He was a creative and inventive toolmaker and was able to design several precise tools to be made with machines, tools and fixtures. He was a graduate of David Prouty High School class of 1936 and was track team manager. He was a Navy veteran of WW II serving on the USS CanBerra in the South Pacific. He was a member of St. Mary's Church, and was an avid bee keeper and enjoyed gardening. Funeral Services will be held Friday, June 25th at 11 a.m. in the J. HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer. Burial will be in Mary, Queen of the Rosary Cemetery, Spencer. A calling hours will be held Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 11a.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Spencer Rescue Squad, P.O.
